Unfollow Now: My 60-Day Challenge Begins
UNFOLLOW NOW… 1ST & LAST NOTICE
Today marks the beginning of a personal challenge that I am publicly committing to: I will be posting content every weekday for 60 days.
Why does this matter to you?
Because I will be sharing more content related to social media, creating videos, marketing, and bits of my life…
If you’re not interested in these topics, feel free to unfollow or unfriend me.
You can do that now.
I’ll wait.

Still here?
Alright then.
I’m doing this because things at home have more or less settled. I had just started my own online business when my brother was diagnosed with a stroke. Many plans got derailed, but I haven’t given up on them.
My brother’s full-time caregiver has been with us for almost 4 months now. He’s been doing a good job, and I think it’s about time for me to get back to working on my personal goals.
In fact, I’m writing this in the hospital while my brother is doing his physiotherapy sessions.
My brother’s condition was a real and legitimate reason for me not posting content regularly. When people asked why I haven’t posted content, I would say that. And everyone’s busy with their own stuff, so no one’s going to hold me accountable.
But as a trainer and coach for many students, I want to hold myself to a higher standard. When I say that being able to post content consistently is the only thing you can control, I stand by that statement.
And I do not think it’s fair to blame my lack of content on my brother’s situation. It’s not like both my caregiver and I are full-time watching over him; I definitely still have my own time and space to do my own things.
So, it’s long overdue that I’m committing to this challenge.
I don’t have all the pieces in place, but I will be building what I need as I go along.
I’m not a guru, however, I’ve always been in the educational field or on stage somehow. So, I will embrace that and commit to regular content amidst the upcoming life events.
Growing my social media doesn’t mean I’ll be rewarded financially or anything like that. Heck, I have almost zero control over whether any of the videos will even perform.
And anyone who thinks it’s easy to create content regularly has no idea.
Utterly.
I have hopes, but I have decided to focus on the only thing I can control - which is the consistency of what I post.
If you'd like to stick around for the ride, you don't need to do anything… perhaps the social media algorithm will be kind and show you my content.
As for the performance of the posts and videos, I’ll be sharing updates in my own private Facebook group.
