Stop Saying AI Won't Replace People
It already has, and it will continue to do more damage to the livelihoods of people. Especially the creative industry. And regular people will keep paying for it.
80% of the money from the masses will flow up and 20% of all that money will flow back into jobs.
The rest will be rolled into investments, AI, and experimental spending.
What this means for the average people like you and me is everything is going to become more expensive, and very quickly.
The Monetary System Is Broken
The world's monetary system on using debt to accumulate assets is going to empower the rich even more, squeeze the middle class to the breaking point, and aggressively remove the chances of lower income bracket individuals.
It's inevitable and the scale of speed of things moving is unprecedented.
The rich will have extreme expectations on them like never before, forcing them to retreat into seclusion and hiding their wealth by moving to a different country or completely locking that up into investments that pay them passive income.
Millions, billions, trillions will be locked up in investments with small portions of passive payout that sustains the livelihood of the rich and the few.
Work Will Be Less Financially Rewarding
The middle class will try to achieve the same but the sense of desperation is always at the back of their minds.
It's no longer creeping up, it's breathing down their necks.
The pressure to keep up while providing for the ones they support is going to be immense, intense, and relief is going to come slow, if any at all.
Mental and community support will help up to a certain point, all the while, the thought of giving up and abandoning everything will be a constant temptation.
And speaking about temptation, the lower income bracket is going to see everything that's happening on social media, and will want to move up.
So they will buy into things that promise big dreams at little cost.
Later, they will realise what they bought isn't going to help them much - but the resource of time, money, and hope is already drained away.
Jobs are being replaced aggressively, there will be higher demands from workers to do more, while pay stays the same.
They are expected to learn new AI tools on their own while demanding them to become proficient in weeks, with what used to require months and years of experience.
Director levels of experience with Executive levels of pay.
The mental strain and stress will cause them to escape into buying hopes, spending to relieve stress, and falling into scams due to either greed, desperation, or ignorance.
The world will not be kind to them and be absolutely brutal to them.
Dismissing all their efforts with "you just need to..."
What's the solution? Ask ChatGPT
Critical thinking work is being replaced with AI tools.
Original thought is going to be stolen and assimilated into learning models, even if they deny it.
And once again, AI will be replacing you before you know it.
P.S. I wrote this without checking AI for accuracy and flow. I'm confident most people will not read this far because this isn't "their problem" until it eventually will.
